Kentucky State Police sent a bathing suit worn by Teague to an independent lab in March but stated that it has not yet received a report.

Troopers said the lab has new technology that can aid in the investigation.

Teague disappeared from Newburgh Beach in Henderson County in 1995. The only suspect in the case, Marty Dill, took his own life when KSP went to question him.
