Teen hit by car in Fort Branch shares about his road to recovery

FORT BRANCH, Ind. (WFIE) – Three weeks ago, a 14-year-old boy was hit by a car in Fort Branch while riding a scooter on his way to a friend’s house.

“I don’t remember much of anything. I remember texting my friend that I was leaving because I was going to be going over to his house,” Isaiah Burger said. “The last thing I remember is putting an earbud in my ear and playing my music getting ready to go.”

His parents say when they didn’t hear from him, they tracked Isaiah’s location from his phone and found he had been life flighted to the hospital…
