In a bid to understand the day-to-day realities faced by Indiana’s first responders, State Rep. Tim O’Brien (R-Evansville) embedded himself with the crew of the Evansville Fire Department Station 10 for a full 24-hour shift this past Fourth of July. O’Brien, who has previously been vocal about public safety and first responder support, took the hands-on approach to engage directly with the firefighters on one of the busiest days of the year for emergency services.
