Concerns over liquor store in Evansville neighborhood

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – A liquor store is the center of community frustration in an Evansville neighborhood.

“So much work has gone in on Walnut Street, that was a $44 million dollar project of taxpayer money,” Rep. Alex Burton. (D) Indiana said. “And now to you know reduce the value of the neighborhood that just got the investment… it’s certainly not the path that we should go.”
