High Spirits liquor store fighting to keep liquor license

EVANSVILLE, Ind (WEHT) – An Evansville liquor store facing opposition went before the Indiana Alcohol and Tobacco Commission in Indianapolis over its liquor license.

From community members to state representative Alex Burton, the store has seen a wave of criticisms with its operations.

“This is no different than what is happening in the county as it relates to solar farms,” Burton says. “So much of our opposition and concern about those, just like those communities are concerned about solar farms, my community is concerned about another liquor store coming in the zip code of 47713.”…
