Study requested by AMR after Evansville announced EFD would take over

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Vanderburgh County Commissioners are asking the Mayor of Evansville to consider a proposal for a new independent study on the community’s emergency medical service needs.

In May, the Mayor announced the City will terminate its contract with AMR and have a city-run ambulance service by June of next year.
