Vanderburgh Co., Ind. (WFIE) – It’s been over a year since the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s office launched their neighborhood-based policing program.
Since the start of the program, Sheriff Noah Robinson of the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office says more than 100 contacts have been made for reasons like large gatherings in neighborhoods, noise complaints and more.
“The idea behind this neighborhood-based policing initiative is to give folks a very informal way of getting in touch with the sheriff’s office and not to send it to just some generic email address but to actually have a name and a face to go with that contact and to form relationships and build trust,” Sheriff Noah Robinson said…
