CHANDLER, Ind. (WEVV) — Work is happening in Chandler as officials continue to work to remedy issues caused by old underground mines.
In March, underground mines dating back to the 1890s collapsed, causing damage to streets and homes in the area of Monroe Avenue.
On Tuesday, the Town of Chandler said that Indiana DNR contractors will be revisiting Monroe Avenue between First Street and State Street today and tomorrow, and that the road will be closed for repairs…
