Indiana-based Superior Ag has officially broken ground on its state-of-the-art fertilizer terminal at the former Summit River Terminal site near Rockport.
The farmer-owned cooperative says their new 32,000‑ton dry fertilizer distribution facility represents an investment of more than $20 million in Spencer County that will be aimed at better serving farmers in southwestern Indiana, northern and central Kentucky, and bordering Illinois.
