Today, I took the morning show on the road for the Sandy Lee Watkins Songwriter’s Festival to interview some of the musicians performing this weekend. We spent the morning at The Elm in Downtown Henderson listening to stories and songs. It’s always a great time.

The Elm plays host to all kinds of events and shows. It is such a cool place. There are booths with vintage toys and clothes, and stacks of records. Corkscrew Curiosities is the most adorable little quirky haven of vintage treasures, books old and new, trinkets, stickers, fidgets, clothes, jewelry, local art, and even some wild oddities. Some of them you can purchase. Others live in the store, almost like mascots. A taxidermied albino deer head, a specimen snake with a fish in its mouth, and even a raccoon ready to hit the Pink Pony Club. (Keep scrolling for pictures!)…
