EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – High pressure, to our southeast, will continue to pump in heat and humidity through the weekend and into next week. Some spotty showers and storms may help keep temperatures slightly cooler this weekend before heat builds for the beginning of next week.
The weekend still looks hot and humid! Saturday will feature mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies. There is a slight chance for a few afternoon downpours/storms, but most will stay dry. Highs will top out in the lower 90s. Any convection will subside after sunset, becoming partly cloudy to mostly clear overnight. Lows will drop into the mid to upper 70s. Sunday will be very similar to Saturday! Expect mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies with highs ranging in the low to mid-90s. There is also a chance for a few isolated downpours/storms to develop during the afternoon, but most will likely stay dry. Expect partly cloudy to mostly clear skies Sunday night with lows dropping into the mid to upper 70s…
