Henderson man charged with trafficking synthetic drugs in Madisonville

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Madisonville Police say a traffic stop on Interstate 69 last week lead to the discovery of a large bag of synthetic marijuana and the arrest of a Henderson man.

According to a citation, J’meer Rowe, 27, was stopped by Madisonville Police for improper lane usage near mile marker 121 on July 23. Authorities say Rowe’s operator license had been suspended for a DUI. A K9 unit arrived at the scene and reportedly gave a positive alert to the presence of drugs inside of the vehicle.

Authorities say a search of the vehicle uncovered a backpack containing two digital scales, a marijuana grinder and a large bag of suspected synthetic marijuana weighing approximately 22.7 grams…
