Evansville Wartime Museum offering free flights in Vietnam helicopter

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Evansville Wartime Museum officials say the Columbus Indiana Huey, a fully restored Vietnam-era UH-1H Iroquois “Huey” helicopter, arrives soon at the Evansville Wartime Museum for two full days of public flights.

According to a press release, visitors will have the rare opportunity to fly in the iconic Huey, just like the troops who served in the Vietnam War.

Rides will be available first come, first served and tickets can be purchased on-site during the event…
