EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – DNR officers have confirmed to Eyewitness News that a body has been found near the Dogtown Boat Ramp after an empty boat was discovered floating on the Ohio River.
The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office say a boat was located floating down the Ohio River on Wednesday. Inside the boat, officials say they found a wallet and a phone. Family members told authorities they have not heard from the owner of the boat.
