HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Indiana State Police say an Ohio man was arrested in Evansville after he was stopped in a construction zone, preventing him from fleeing authorities.
According to a release from ISP, a trooper patrolling the Lloyd Expressway near U.S. 41 spotted a motorcycle traveling east at speeds greater than 80 mph on Friday. The trooper attempted to stop the motorcycle, but the rider and passenger reportedly continued traveling east between vehicles while continuing at a high rate of speed.
However, authorities say the motorcycle was stopped in construction traffic on the Lloyd Expressway west of Burkhardt Road, and the rider was taken into custody. The rider, identified by Indiana State Police as Cameron Stark, 35, of Grove City, Ohio, was taken to the Vanderburgh County Jail and charged with resisting law enforcement, reckless driving and possession of marijuana…
