Evansville Police set to focus on impaired drivers ahead of Labor Day

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – With Labor Day just around the corner, the Evansville Police Department is partnering with the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute to prevent impaired driving and save lives

According to a press release, from August 16 – 30, officers will increase patrols and conduct sobriety checkpoints as part of the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over national enforcement campaign, led by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
