Paducah Weather Update: Near 90° Heat Fades to 70s, Light Rain Chances by Midweek

PADUCAH, Ky. – Residents across western Kentucky, southern Illinois, and southwest Indiana will see a noticeable shift in weather patterns this week as summer heat gives way to cooler air and mostly dry skies. Temperatures, which reach the upper 80s Saturday in cities like Paducah, Cape Girardeau, and Evansville, will gradually fall into the mid-70s by midweek.

According to the National Weather Service in Paducah, a stray shower or thunderstorm is possible late Saturday afternoon and evening across southern Illinois and southwest Indiana, though most areas will stay dry. Rain chances remain slim through the workweek, with only isolated sprinkles expected Thursday and Friday.

The cooler trend will be most noticeable overnight. Lows are forecast to dip into the lower 50s by Tuesday night, with Carbondale, Murray, and Madisonville all expecting readings closer to 52–54 degrees. This marks one of the first sustained below-normal temperature stretches in several weeks…
