HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – The Posey County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) says it has arrested a man who has been accused of child molestation charges.
PCSO says on the morning of August 23, Posey County deputies and a detective responded to a complaint of a sex crime. Upon arrival, deputies and detectives conducted an investigation that included speaking with the victim and witnesses. On August 25, the victim was forensically interviewed at Holly’s House in Evansville. After further investigation, Andrew William Bastain, 39, of Poseyville, was arrested.

Deputies say Andrew Bastain is currently being held in the Posey County Jail with no bond for the charges of Child Molesting, Sexual Misconduct with a Minor and other criminal charges related to the investigation.
