EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — The Evansville Wartime Museum held a special event to commemorate the 80th anniversary celebration of the end of WWII.
The event honored the courage, sacrifice and resilience of the greatest generation while preserving the personal stories of those who lived through the years of the war. The museum had WWII vehicles and aircraft displays, family friendly activities, story time, opportunities to meet WWII veterans and home-front heroes.
