HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – Households in Vanderburgh County will have the chance to bring household hazardous waste to be recycled.
The Vanderburgh County Household Waste Collection Day, or Tox-Away Day, will be held on Saturday, September 6 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Civic Center parking lot.
Officials state residents can bring materials such as used motor oil, gasoline, antifreeze, pesticides and herbicides, household cleaners and chemicals, aerosol cans, solvents and thinners, oil-based paint, pharmaceuticals and items containing mercury like thermometers and fluorescent light bulbs…
