EPD: Woman out on bond arrested again after firing gun; had a dozen weapons in collection

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Evansville Police say while out on a separate call, a woman told them that she was the one responsible for a shots fired call.

Officers say 49-year-old Shannon Murray-Gentry told police, “If you get a call about a shots fired, that was me.”

According to Police, Murray-Gentry admitted to shooting a revolver into the ground when a friend of hers was “being aggressive” towards her.

During the course of the investigation, EPD found that Murray-Gentry was out on bond for a battery charge in Warrick County…
