Former Evansville banker sentenced for stealing over $158K from customer accounts

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — A former Evansville banker has been sentenced to federal prison for stealing more than $158,000 from customer accounts, officials announced Tuesday.

Dekoda Scott Clark of Tell City, Indiana, has been sentenced to 2.5 years in federal prison for bank theft and access device fraud.

Clark, 32, was also ordered to pay $158,208.53 in restitution and will undergo three years of supervised release. He exploited his position as a Relationship Banker in Evansville to steal from customer accounts…
