Warrick Humane Society ready to return to normal after chemical fire

HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – Officials say the Warrick Humane Society is ready to return to normal after a chemical fire earlier this month.

The fire at PBTT on Vann Road left ash in the surrounding area. The Indiana Department of Environmental Management recommended adding fresh gravel outside since ash can’t be cleaned from the rocks.

Shelter officials say a volunteer helped put down the new gravel. The rest of the animals will be moved back to the shelter over the next couple of days…
