HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — Warrick County is reporting a rise in infant deaths related to unsafe sleep practices.
According to the Warrick County Coroner’s Office, the county has experienced a threefold increase in unsafe sleep deaths since the beginning of the year. The coroner’s office says the cases now represent the leading cause of preventable death among children under the age of 18 in the county.
