HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – A 15-year-old that was allegedly in a stolen car at the same time as an 18-year-old that was charged with shooting at Evansville Police officers could be tried as an adult.
Prosecutor Diana Moers says the office plans to request a waiver to adult court and are working on the charges.
EPD says the 15-year-old was the driver of the stolen car and tried to run from officers. The juvenile was shortly detained after an officer used an electronic stun gun, but authorities state he was able to get away after the shots were fired at officers.
