Man arrested after hitting pedestrian while driving under influence

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — A man has been arrested in Evansville after hitting a pedestrian with a vehicle while under the influence.

According to the affidavit, police were called to Bally’s Hotel and Casino parking garage on September 27 at 9:17 p.m. where they found a pedestrian injured on the ground with injuries. The pedestrian, identified as Tosha Perdue, was taken to the hospital where she was treated for serious injuries, including a shattered pelvis and broken bones in her legs and arms.

According to Perdue, she was walking through the parking lot where she was struck from behind by a SUV. Perdue says she was then dragged along the ground by the vehicle before it stopped and fled the scene…
