HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Three people have been caught flying drones over the fall festival and the Evansville Police Department wants it to stop.
The Federal Aviation Administration issued a no-fly zone over the area during the event from 10 a.m. until 11 p.m. through Saturday. Anyone found flying a drone over any area of the WSNC Fall Festival faces fines up to $75,000 per violation. In addition to the fine, operators can also have their drone operator’s license suspended or revoked.

It’s not known if any of the three who were caught will face any penalties, although one man was arrested on unrelated charges…
