EPD: Child found in the street with urine-soaked pants, apparent cigarette burn

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — Evansville Police say a mom was arrested after a driver called 911 and said they nearly hit a child, who was wearing nothing but urine-soaked pants and had an apparent cigarette burn on the forehead.

Around 10 p.m. Monday night, police say a driver called 911 and said they had nearly hit a child who was walking in the street.

The driver said they were on the street in front of the Neighborhood Walmart on Taylor Avenue when the child ran out in front of them, causing them to slam on their brakes to avoid hitting the child…
