Nut Club responds to rigging half-pot accusations

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — The West Side Nut Club is once again dispelling rumors about the Fall Festival Half Pot.

The organization addressed questions on social media about fairness, saying they understand concerns with a prize over $1,000,000. The nut club says on top of layers of security, the Indiana Gaming Commission supervises the entire process.

The group says they were among the first non-profit organizations in the state to be approved to hold online sales and many of the state legislators who helped pass the laws worked directly with them…
