For the second time this week, a fatal train accident has occurred in the United States.
On Tuesday, a man named Basten Johnson and his son Basi were driving at approximately 6:40 a.m in Henderson County, Kentucky, when they were struck by a northbound train. According to the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office, the father and son involved in this accident were pronounced dead at the scene.
“Authorities at the scene say a father and son were pronounced dead following the crash near the intersection of Cherry Hill Road and Robards-Busby Station Road. Their vehicle was reportedly pushed over 2,000 feet from the site of the initial impact,” a report from WEHT states. “No railroad workers were reported injured.”…
