Vanderburgh Humane Society raises $53k at West Side Nut Club’s Fall Festival

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — The Vanderburgh Humane Society celebrated a record-breaking Fall Festival, reporting gross proceeds of just over $53,000.

The festival featured sales of more than 2,471 trays of fried mac and cheese and over 1,200 samplers. Additionally, 1,740 shake-ups were sold.

Funds raised will help cover a $13,000 CenterPoint bill and $29,000 in medical supply expenses for over 650 animals currently in care, according to the Vanderburgh Humane Society…
