Pigeon Creek Watershed Development Commission wants to hear ideas, issues from residents

EVANSVILLE — Anyone with a connection to the Pigeon Creek watershed in Vanderburgh County is invited to attend a stakeholders meeting later this month.

Whether the person works, lives or plays in the area, the Pigeon Creek Watershed Development Commission wants to hear from them. The meeting is set for 11 a.m. Oct. 27 at Room 301 of the Civic Center.

At that time, invidividuals will be able to share issues or ideas regarding the watershed. This includes everything from flood damage reduction to recreation, according to the commission.

The PCWDC was established in 2023, and has territory in Gibson, Pike, Warrick and Vanderburgh counties…
