HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Officials with the PGA Tour have announced their decision to relocate the Korn Ferry Tour Championship away from Evansville.
According to a release, the tournament will be hosted in the larger market of Richmond, Virginia beginning with the 2026 schedule. The tournament’s host organizations, United Leasing & Finance and the non-profit Golf Gives Back confirmed in a release the agreement was requested to be terminated past the 2025 event held earlier this month.
“While we are disappointed that the tournament will be leaving the area, we are immensely proud of the impact we achieved over the past decade and a half,” said Ron Romain, executive chairman for United Leasing & Finance and a Board Member for Golf Gives Back. “Our success was measured in the substantial support provided to local charities.”…
