Hush on Main in Evansville to Close After Halloween
It was announced yesterday that one of Evansville’s newer bars will be closing its doors after Halloween.
Last year, we were thrilled when Hush on Main, a 1920s-style speakeasy, opened its doors on Evansville’s Main Street. Tucked on the lower level of The Marlocon Building at 323 Main Street, guests stepped back in time when they entered. With authentic décor and antique pieces straight out of the days of Prohibition, flappers, and gangsters, it was the perfect place to grab a drink, catch up with friends, and enjoy life for a little while.

Yesterday, Brian Buxton from Fingers Fork Knife and Spoon shared that the bar will be closing its doors on November 5.
“Today, Meier called us to relate that the building and business had been sold, and that Wednesday, November 5th would be their last day of operation.”…
