HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – The man charged with the 2019 murder of Evansville firefighters Robert Doerr is now facing charges of battery following an altercation at the Vanderburgh County Jail earlier this week.
According to an affidavit, Larry Richmond was seen on cameras punching another inmate who was pinned against a bunk inside a cell. Authorities say the fight also involved two other inmates, Dakota Burgess and Bryan Lewis, who had been striking the other inmate and throwing his belongings across the cell.
Authorities say the man was bleeding from his face and required hospitalization to treat his injuries…
