HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — The Owensboro Police Department carried out two search warrants this week, leading to three arrests and the seizure of a large amount of illegal drugs.
A release from the Owensboro Police Department says on Tuesday, the OPD Street Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at a hotel in the 500 block of West 2nd Street. Logan Husk, 25, and Mallory Carter, 33, were both arrested at the scene. Detectives seized the items listed below:
- Suspected methamphetamine
- Fentanyl pills
- Marijuana
- Drug paraphernalia
- Cash
- Two guns
After the search at the hotel, a warrant was obtained to search Husk’s home in the 800 block of George Street. There detectives found Mary Martinez, 47, and two children. During a search of the home, detectives recovered the items listed below:…
