Tri-state groups brace for rising demand as food aid set to expire

HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – With assistance programs like SNAP set to expire later this week, organizations across the Tri-State are preparing for a rise in the need for food assistance.

Officials with the nonprofit Young & Established say they have already seen an increase in the number of families coming to its weekly food giveaways.
