Not only does the Socket Shield prevent electric shock, it’s a nifty cover for those ugly outlets, providing a more appealing look and aesthetic for your household. Why not just use those socket filler things for baby proofing? Well, my personal experience with these never ends well. They’re nearly impossible to get out of the outlet when the time comes for me to use it. Socket Shield is essentially a sliding door for your outlet, allowing for easy access when electricity is needed, but providing safe, secure locking in an appealing fashion when not in use. So, how do you access the electricity if it’s locked? Easy! Use your two or three-pronged electrical plug, tap the designated area of the shield, and access granted!
