HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – Animal Wellness Action announced a $2,500 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction of party or parties responsible for killing a dog in Spencer County.
The case is being investigated by the Spencer County Sheriff’s Office, and it involves a Doberman pinscher found tied to a pipeline marker and shot in a secluded area west of Grandview on October 31.
Deputies said the animal suffered at least one gunshot wound to the head, and also say evidence at the scene suggests the dog was brought to the location, tied to the pole using a new collar and leash, and then fatally shot…
