EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — One Evansville organization is offering a helping hand as snap benefit funding continues to be up in limbo.
Tonight, Feed Evansville hosted a community food share in partnership with Sam’s Club. The food share was held at the CK Newsome center. There, people could walk up and receive a box of food, one per family.The boxes contained non-perishable items like green beans, mashed potatoes and other canned goods.
