EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – The day started off like any other, quiet and with nice weather. But it ended changing people’s lives and leaving many without a home. For those who survived the tornado living at Evansville’s Eastbrook Mobile Home Park 20 years ago, they say it’s an experience they are grateful to have lived through but hope to never experience again.
During the first weekend in November of 2005, Vicki Kindred had the opportunity to connect with relatives. She had the chance to speak with Gretchen Ross about what she heard when she was taking her dog outside for a bathroom break during the night.
