HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – As storms pushed into the Tri-State Tuesday morning, our camera atop Ellis Park captured a dramatic moment in real time: a bolt of lightning striking our own tower.
The camera, pointed south toward the Twin Bridges connecting Evansville and Henderson over the Ohio River, recorded the flash just as the line of showers and thunderstorms arrived.
