Boonville man arrested for public intoxication, threatens to blow up jail

HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – What started as an unruly bar patron call ended with a Boonville man being charged with multiple counts, one of them after threatening to blow up the Vanderburgh County Jail.

According to an affidavit, Evansville Police officers were called to Bud’s on W. Franklin Street just before 10 p.m. on Friday in reference to an unruly patron.

The patron was identified as Jaidyn Robinson. EPD says Robinson was being belligerent and loud while having slurred speech, bloodshot eyes, having poor balance and allegedly pushing another patron to the ground.

Robinson was taken into custody, and while seated on the ground, was allegedly yelling and screaming at officers and passersby…
