Wet start to the work week

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – High pressure will build in over the Tri-state this weekend, keeping the weather quiet. More rain will filter in to kick off the work week before drying out and cooling down by Thanksgiving.

After the fog dissipates through the morning we’ll be left with partly sunny to mostly cloudy skies for the afternoon. Temperatures will sit comfortably in the upper 50s. Skies will remain partly to mostly cloudy with areas of fog developing overnight. Temperatures will drop into the upper 30s.

High pressure will slide to our east on Monday. Expect increasing cloud cover during the day with highs topping out in the upper 50s. Showers will overspread the region late in the afternoon/early evening and persist overnight. Overnight lows will drop into the lower 50s. Rain will continue into Tuesday morning before drying out through the afternoon. Highs on Tuesday will top out in the mid 60s…
