Thanksgiving Day Give Back
📅 Thanksgiving Day, 12 p.m. – 3 p.m. 📍 Liberty Missionary Baptist Church, 701 Oak Street Enjoy a full Thanksgiving spread—turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, and dessert. Both dine-in and carry-out options are available.
Free Thanksgiving Dinner at Uncle Norman’s
📅 Wednesday, 3 p.m. until food is gone 📍 Uncle Norman’s, 401 Riverside Drive Stop by for a free hot meal—dine-in or carry-out.
A Grateful Thanksgiving
📅 Thanksgiving Day, 1 p.m. 📍 United Caring Services, 324 NW Sixth Street Another chance to enjoy a warm holiday meal on Thanksgiving Day.
Thanksgiving Community Food Share
📅 Wednesday, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. 📍 CK Newsome Center Parking Lot (enter at Ninth & Locust) A community food share for anyone needing groceries before the holiday.
The Salvation Army’s Annual Thanksgiving Festival
📅 Wednesday, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. 📍 The Salvation Army, 1040 North Fulton Avenue This long-standing Evansville tradition is expected to serve 800–1,000 people. Guests can enjoy smoked turkey, classic sides, live music, giveaways, dessert—and even the chance to win prizes. The Salvation Army will also hand out several hundred winter coats to those who need them.

The Muslim Association of Southern Indiana for Health Advancement (MAISHA) and the Islamic Society of Evansville offer free groceries four days a week at various locations.
