EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — Downtown Evansville was buzzing today as shoppers turned out to support local businesses for small business Saturday.
Visitors explored more than 10 shops and 30 restaurants all while enjoying free parking, hot chocolate and giveaways. Organizers say every dollar spent locally makes a big impact, with 68 cents staying right here in the community.
“I think it’s just a great way for the community to come together in different ways,” Erik Martinez said. “Obviously, people support different things, and they like, it’s great to see people of different values come together and doing different things together.”…
