FDA removes warning labels from hormone replacement therapy drugs

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — The FDA has ordered the removal of warning labels on hormone replacement therapy drugs stating that recent studies they have conducted have shown little risk to women taking these drugs to combat the side effects of menopause.

Warning labels previously stated these medications could cause cardiovascular issues for women such as heart attack, stroke, dementia, and blood clots.
