HENDERSON, Ky. (WEVV) — The holiday spirit is alive and well as the Henderson community ends the weekend with the 911 Gives Hope for the Holidays Toy Drive with an impressive collection of toys.
“The Henderson Crew arrived early this morning with their collection for the 911 Gives Hope for the Holidays Toy Drive, and what an amazing number of toys they brought with them,” they shared.
Despite the strong start, the drive is ongoing, and more donations are needed to fill the trailer.
“We need the Evansville community to keep the donations coming. We’ll be here all day until 6 p.m. to help make Christmas a little brighter for kids spending the holidays in local hospitals. Let’s fill this trailer,” they said.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will also be present for photo opportunities until 5 p.m., providing a festive atmosphere for families.
Mr. Fence will be at Walmart on South Red Bank Road in Evansville from noon to 4 p.m., contributing to the event’s festivities…
