EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — The Evansville Thunderbolts’ annual Teddy Bear Toss on Friday night at the Ford Center resulted in 4,304 stuffed animals being collected for children in need across the Tri-State area.
The game against the Macon Mayhem ended in a 4-3 shootout loss for the Thunderbolts. Conor Witherspoon put Macon in the lead early in the first period, but Evansville’s Isaac Chapman tied the game, prompting the teddy bear toss.
