EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — Police responded to report of an assault in progress on December 9, in the 4600 block of North First Avenue. Evansville Police said a 911 caller reported two people attacked a male victim before fleeing the scene.
Upon arrival, officers met with two victims who explained they had arranged to sell a computer to the suspects at that location. Police said during the transaction, one suspect attempted to take the computer by force, resulting in minor injuries to a female victim.
Authorities reported Donya Hughes, 23, was one of the suspects and was given a description of his vehicle by one of the victims. Moments later, officers found the vehicle and conducted a felony car stop on the 700 block of Ridgeway Avenue…
